THE
BENEFIT
FOR DEB FLANAGAN
WAS A SUCCESS!
Warrior Girl Music (www.warriorgirlmusic.com)
has created an ongoing
BENEFIT FOR DEB FLANAGAN -
a FUND RAISER for our
friend, and AWARENESS for Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS -
Amyotrophic lateral
sclerosis).
On Saturday
April 18, a Benefit happened in Venice Beach, California, to help raise money
for Deb Flanagan and raise awareness. It was a great success, at the venue,
Talking Stick Café, with music artists performing, including Warrior Girl
Music’s founder, gilli moon, along with Marian Call, Coco O'Connor
plus
Paul McCarty, J.Walker, Christopher Barran, Melissa Trinchere and Miri Hunter.
Thanks
also to TK Promotions,
Rich at the Talking Stick, Danna at the
Vital Life Foundation
and Doug at the
New Media Interchange
(provided webcast) for making that event be such a
success.
Listed below from left to right - the group of artists including gilli moon
and Toni Koch (producers) in the center. Then gilli moon on keyboards. Marian
Call. Miri Hunter and her drum. Christopher and Natasha Barran (with Andy Catt
on bass), and Andy Catt (bass) and Frank Musarra (Cahone), gilli's band.

A big thank you
to all those who DONATED towards Deb Flanagan's medical costs and for those who
came on the night and watched from around the world (from across the US and
Canada, Europe, Australia to India!).

Artist
gilli moon has held a 6 year friendship with a
wonderful human being, Deb Flanagan. Deb has been an active music enthusiast,
promoter and business owner, based out of Austin Texas, for many years. She
has given SO much to gilli moon's artistry and her label Warrior Girl Music
over the years, and gilli was saddened to hear that Deb had been diagnosed
with ALS, known as "Lou Gehrig's Disease", which has turned
a vibrant, active woman into someone who has lost many abilities of her body
and degenerating every day.
Although Deb's laughter and smiles
have not stopped, she is now being cared for at Marquis Care with support of
the Vital Life Foundation AND we have decided to create a a Benefit Fundraiser
to assist Deb's medical costs (she is only partially funded for health care).
Our Friend Deb Flanagan was diagnosed with ALS in 2008. As the disease has
progressed, Deb is requiring professional full time assistance and care to
meet her daily needs at the
Vital Life Foundation.
She is currently living in a very loving and "home like" environment in
Portland Oregon (Vital Life Foundation). She brightens the room with her
smile, her zest for life, and the tenacious spirit that often surfaces from
within her petite size frame. Although we have no guarantees in life, Deb
dances each day like no one is watching.
Donations are still being accepted
for DEB FLANAGAN.
How to

Proceeds from tonight’s show

What Is
Lou Gehrig's Disease?
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's
Disease," is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells
in the brain and the spinal cord. Motor neurons reach from the brain to the
spinal cord and from the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body. The
progressive degeneration of the motor neurons in ALS eventually leads to
their death.
