Warrior Girl Music produced artist and CD art client.

...and even though I love it, I just can't stick up for rap words...

With his new album "SKILLZ", produced and co-written by gilli moon (soon to be release), the creativity and passion that J.Walker uses has helped him win numerous poetry slams and talent shows all through Los Angeles.

J.Walker is living his dream, working as a self proclaimed Rhymecologist, he helps at risk youth work through their problems by expressing themselves through rap or poetry.  He conducts groups and seminars throughout the Los Angeles area. J.Walker, the Rhymecologist, combines his talent of being a lyricist and counselor, to help at-risk youth to create, discover and express themselves.

J. has created a program in which at risk youth, in the greater Los Angeles area, whom he has been counseling for years, come to him to create songs, raps, lyrics and poems to create, discover and express themselves.  Similar to the theme of “Art Therapy”, J.Walker decided that “Rap Therapy” would be more prevalent in today’s society. In the program, J. talks about the affect that hip-hop has on impressionable minds, the golden era of rap, where it is going and how it affects each individual.

The goal for J.Walker’s rap therapy - Rhymecology-is to help children express themselves in a safe, creative manner. Most of the children have suffered and never had a chance to express themselves freely, much less in a positive, artistic forum.  J.Walker provides that.

J.Walker's recent solo album Rhymecology is inspired by what J.Walker has seen in his years on earth. With his uncanny ability to observe and step into other people’s shoes and situations, J. has created an album that transcends age and gender, steps outside the box and offers the fan a helping hand to follow.
