An indie-focused event, songwriting organizations, music business professionals and services, and artists joined under one umbrella for a full-action packed weekend, celebrating our global songwriting community and the needs of songwriters. The Expo centers around a high concept goal of CHANGING the music industry to focus more for artists needs, particularly songwriters. It is an indie-focused not-for-profit event, with panel discussions (the main focus, with celebrated and honored industry professionals discussing various "hot" music industry topics throughout the day,) songwriting critique workshops, closed pro-sessions with leading songwriters, exhibition booths for artists and the industry to expose their services, and artist showcases at the main venue and surrounding Los Angeles clubs.
